Some of you might recall a "Choose Your Own Story" series I was attempting to write. It was fun, I wrote it for a long time, then I got overwhelmed and stopped.
Then I remembered it today, and thought, 'Well it's not completed. But it's something. Some bits are enjoyable. Maybe it's worth getting it out of my bin of drafts and let whoever else could enjoy it enjoy it?'
The following texts are it.
Although, before getting there, some may want to know how to follow the story choices. So here's an example of how to read the map, per se.

- At the start, you'll see a number "0" and then the story. That number is sort of an address for that story.
- The first story "0" will have the following choices. They are "1", "2", and "3". The descriptions of the choices are written next to those numbers.
- If you have chosen "1" in the story "0", then proceed to the story "1" and you may read its story and then choose either the story "1-1" or "1-2".
- If you have chosen "1-1" in the story "1", then process to the story "1-1", which means you'll be scrolling down past story "2" and story "3" until you find a story that starts with "1-1".
- And so on.
- They are like one of those choose your own story books where it says "go to page 62 if you chose this, go to page 139 if you chose this".
- One of the highest number you get is "3-1-1-2-2-3-2-1-1-2-4-00", I think. To get there, you would have had to first choose "3", which takes you to story "3" where you'd choose "3-1", then at "3-1" you'd choose "3-1-1", then "3-1-1-2", then "3-1-1-2-2", then "3-1-1-2-2-3", then "3-1-1-2-2-3-2", then, well, you see where I'm going with this.
- To reduce the headache of finding the right address, especially with the bigger numbers, try Ctrl + F key and type the number you're looking for, and they should become highlighted and easier to find.
This was meant to be a web video game format story. So instead of scrolling down until you find a right number/address, the reader would only need to click a choice, and it'll send the reader to the page that shows the outcome of that choice. This would have been done in either a Blogger format with dozens of posts or a video game app.
The reason why this project stopped was because I kept losing track of which branch of the story goes where, and I think some of the branches just felt mundane and wanted to cut but not sure what else that would cut. There were also paintings planned for this, which is a lot of work and became overwhelming. I don't feel I'm quite there yet.
But I decided to get it out anyway. And hopefully some of you find something enjoyable in it!
